In August 2025, her dedication and artistry were honored with the Creative Award – Jewelry Mastery 2025 at GIT’s World Challenge Gems Faceting Master, held at Siam Paragon.
Her award-winning creation combined fancy-cutting techniques with natural materials to reveal new dimensions of color and brilliance. For Ms. Se Jingta, the award was not just recognition, but a reminder that every piece she creates carries real value - a gift from Thai craftsmanship to the world.
On over 20 years of expertise
“The Doublet technique has long been admired abroad, especially in Europe. What makes me proud is that our craftsmanship has been sent out to the world for over 20 years now. Each time I work, it feels as though I am sending a little piece of Thai artistry for others to cherish.”
On the challenge of craftsmanship
“The hardest part is combining two materials so they fit perfectly. A gemstone with shell, or a gemstone with colored stone, must be cut to exactly the same size. If not, they won’t bond seamlessly. That’s why every piece requires both precision and heart.”
On playing with nature
“Every material is already beautiful in itself. What I do is bring different colors and patterns together, creating something new that has never existed before. I find joy each time, because no two pieces are ever the same - nature always gives us unique beauty.”
On the clarity of Quartz
“I use clear Quartz on top, like a convex lens that magnifies color and brilliance. It also protects softer materials like shell or colored stone from scratches. Every time I look through Quartz, I feel as if I’m seeing another world, full of fresh light and endless sparkle.”
